Peer-Review Policy

  • Articles to Passer journal are peer-reviewed at the editors’ discretion.
  • Peer-reviewers use Passer online system to submit their reports by pressing a link in their email which they received previously from Passer editors.
  • Passer publish important scientific research with strong evidence in its conclusion
  • Editorial staff read all submitted manuscripts, those which not meet with Passer editorial criteria are rejected without sending to referees. Manuscripts with potential interest are sent to at least two referees, then depending on  referees suggestions editors decide with following decisions:Passer editors select the most experienced scientist in each field who have registered to Passer as reviewers
    • Accepted without revision
    • Accepted with revision
    • Deferred, authors must revise submitted manuscripts by addressing them specific concern before taking the final decision  
    • Rejected with suggesting further work and gives authors option of resubmitting
    • Rejected without suggesting resubmission, because of major interpretational or technical issues  
  • Passer editors receive referees information to reach a right decision on submitted articles, which improve the quality of passer’s publication.
  • To reach decision, Passer asks referees some questions on submitted manuscripts as fellow:Passer does not release the identity of author to the reviewers and vice versa.  The identity of both remains anonymous during and after the reviewing process.
    • Summarising significant outstanding results of the work
    • Are there any mistakes in the manuscript? write in detail
    • Is the conclusion original?  Are the presented results of interest to people in a specific field?
    • How are the used methodology, data quality, and its reproducibility?
    • Accuracy of statistical analysis which was used, error bars and figure legends related problems must be addressed by referees.
    • Is the Interpretation of the conclusion reliable, valid and robust?
    • Any suggestion for improving the manuscript should be listed.
    • Have authors used wright and recent references? Should they exclude any references or include other new ones?   
    • Is the context of the all part of the paper clear and easy to fellow?
    • Is there any area in the manuscripts is outside your expertise?
    • Others question to ask the authors?
  • At least two independent referees are selected by editors, to give feedback on all selected articles submitted for peer reviewing.
  • Authors can suggest independent appropriate reviewers and they can also request excluding one or two individual or institutions.

Correction and retraction policy

  • We are responsible to correct any errors in any Passers’ published papers, which been published previously, by consideration the reader scientific criticisms.
  • Passer resends the paper to the peer-reviewing, most likely to they who had reviewed the article previously. Passer also sends a copy to the corresponding author. After refutation process the article can be corrected, retracted or remain as it is with no change.
  • Passer is welcoming any comment from the readers, they can contact Passer by sending their criticism on any published articles.
