Effects of Nano-Epigallocatechin Gallate on Broiler Chicks' Performance, Biochemical Parameters, and Digestive Organ Development

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between the dietary inclusion level of Nano EGCG and the productive performance of broiler chicks, as well as to determine the resulting effects on their biochemical parameters and digestive organ development. The study utilized 350 day-old chicks (Ross 308). This research included five treatments with five replications, each replicate including 14 birds, with an average body weight per pen. The study was carried out on day-old chicks. T1 (control) the absence of Nano EGCG supplementation, T2 = 10 mg/kg feed Nano EGCG, T3= 20 mg/kg feed Nano-Epigallocatechin gallate, T4= 30 mg/kg feed Nano EGCG and T5 =40mg/ kg of feed Nano EGCG. According to the findings, broilers that had been given Nano EGCG performed significantly better on their diet. T2 and T3 always performed better than control group. Such advantageous effects were reflected by improved WG and FCR, indicating that Nano EGCG was beneficial to nutrient utilization and growth activity. Biochemical measures supported these outcomes, showing that the strongest groups had increased levels of antioxidant enzyme activity, a reduced lipid peroxidation, improved lipid metabolism and stable liver and kidney function. These results suggest that such positive effects of Nano EGCG may be attributed to the improved growth performance, physiological regulation and oxidative balance caused by it.
